INFORMATION for PARENTS:

This is an independent storytime where children sit and listen to stories all by themselves. Storytime is designed to introduce children to books and libraries in a positive, enjoyable way. The program time averages 45 minutes to 1 hour and includes a variety of stories, fingergames, action rhymes, and a related craft. Along with aiding the development of listening and motor skills, storytime is also a time when children can learn socialization skills with children their own age.

To help provide an optimal learning atmosphere for your child during storytime, please observe the following guidelines:

INFORMATION for PARENTS:

Baby Time is designed for our youngest patrons and their caregivers. It is intended to introduce babies to the library in a positive way. This is a lapsit program running 30 - 45 minutes. It includes 15 - 20 minutes of structured time (songs, fingerplays, action rhymes, nursery rhymes) and then 15 - 30 minutes of free play time. No cell phones please!

INFORMATION for PARENTS:

Time for 2s & 3s is designed for our youngest patrons and their caregivers. It is intended to introduce toddlers to books and libraries in a positive way. This program runs 25 - 35 minutes and includes songs, rhymes, fingerplays, short books, and a craft. Caregivers should remain in the storyroom and are encouraged to join in the activities. No cell phones please!

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22nd @ 6:30 PM

Bob Conrad with Sam the Penguin puppet

Join us for a winter-themed magic show! Author/ illustrator Bob Conrad mixes up a special blend of entertainment that is guaranteed to please, using puppets, magic, music, ventriloquism, audience participation, and good clean winter fun! Pre-registration is NOT required.

This program will be held at the SOUTH PLAINFIELD SENIOR CENTER.

In lieu of an admission charge, please bring a new, unopened non-perishable food item for our local food bank.
