The form can be completed on-line. Applications may also be mailed to or dropped off at South Plainfield Police Headquarters. All forms will be sent to the South Plainfield Police Department and kept on file. Participation is voluntary, and you may opt out at any time.

Held at the Senior Center. At 6-foot-6-inches tall, singer-songwriter Big Jeff DeSmedt is the BIGGEST children's music act there is! His songs and routines engage children's minds, voices, and dancing feet! Special thanks to the Suburban Women's Club of South Plainfield for sponsoring this program. Please consider bringing an unopened non-perishable food item or personal care product to donate to the South Plainfield Food Pantry.

Baby Time is designed for our youngest patrons (under 2 years of age) and their caregivers. It is intended to introduce babies to the library in a positive way. This is a lapsit program including 225 minutes of songs and rhymes for our youngest patrons followed by 225 minutes of play and socialization time. No cell phones please!

This program runs 25 - 35 minutes and includes songs, rhymes, fingerplays, short books, and a craft. Caregivers should remain in the storyroom and are encouraged to join in the activities. INFORMATION for PARENTS:

This is an independent storytime where children sit and listen to stories all by themselves. Storytime is designed to introduce children to books and libraries in a positive, enjoyable way. The program time averages 45 minutes to 1 hour and includes a variety of stories, fingergames, action rhymes, and a related craft. Along with aiding the development of listening and motor skills, storytime is also a time when children can learn socialization skills with children their own age.

To help provide an optimal learning atmosphere for your child during storytime, please observe the following guidelines:
